The System Performace Improvement Committee (SPI) is responsible for oversight of system performance improvement activities of NCTTRAC. The Open SPI Committee shall develop and review system performance standards and review and make recommendations for appropriate Trauma Level designation of hospitals. The Closed SPI Committee shall review and analyze reported patient care and process issues, provide for rural child fatality review, maintain oversight for the Regional Communications Center and serve as the NCTTRAC personnel review and grievance committee.
