Vote on Updates to NCTTRAC Bylaws

During the 2010 Strategic Planning Session the NCTTRAC Board of Directors updated the Mission stated in Article III of the Bylaws to include the importance of research and to more clearly define our philosophy. Additionally, the need to update standing committee meeting representation was addressed. In order to strengthen relationships with our community stakeholders and partners, language that would allow direct participation by non-member agencies or organizations has been drafted for inclusion in Article IX of the Bylaws and corresponding SOP. The final draft of the recommended revised Bylaws will be presented and voted on by all voting members in attendance at the September 14, 2010 General Membership Meeting at the North Central Texas Council of Governments Transportation Room, 616 Six Flags Drive, Arlington, Texas 76011.
