  How To Become A Member?
To become a member, complete the Membership Application in full and return with your total dues and fees as shown in the instructions. The Board approves applications monthly, at which time you will be eligible to participate fully within your membership category. “Active Participation” requirements are outlined in the NCTTRAC Standard Operating Procedure on Voting Membership and Participation in NCTTRAC. These essential requirements vary by type of membership, and include a membership application component, a dues component, a meeting attendance component, and a data submission component for designated trauma and stroke facilities and air/ground EMS licensed Providers to meet eligibility requirements.
  Who Can Become A Member?
NCTTRAC membership is open to hospitals and medical facilities, ground and air EMS Providers, First Responder Organizations, schools and colleges, physician’s groups, and professional associations and organizations related to the emergency healthcare system.
Who Needs To Be A Member?
As part of the Texas Trauma System, hospitals must be active participants of its Regional Advisory Council (RAC) for trauma designation and for some funding from the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) such as disproportionate share funds. Additionally designated stroke facilities and licensed EMS Providers must meet RAC participation requirements for designation (stroke facilities) or county assistance funds (EMS). All EMS providers and EMS first responders also receive additional consideration in a DSHS Local Projects Grant application if it is a RAC member.
