Eight regional zones have been developed to assist in bringing NCTTRAC activities back to the providers to enhance the regional development and the "inclusive" system. These zones allow for greater input and participation of members in NCTTRAC activities. Zone liaisons serve as communicators and facilitators between the Board of Directors and the zone members. The Board of Directors in collaboration with the zone’s recommendations appoints them.
Expectations are:
1. Attend all NCTTRAC Board of Directors meetings.
2. Coordinate one zone meeting per quarter consisting of an update on current NCTTRAC activities and a
period to get feedback to return to the Board of Directors.
3. Contact each provider, both hospital and pre-hospital, at a minimum of every six months, to determine
needs and provide a channel of communication.
4. Possess communication capabilities such as email, fax, and/or pager.
